June Meeting - Aquaculture in the NT

Wednesday Jun 12 7:45 pm

Duration: 1.5 hours

Presented by Bill Nguyen

Summary: Marine creatures are some of the most fascinating animals to work with. In my talk I want to discuss the different aspects of the industry such as; collection and husbandry, as well as the different types of aquaculture and the implications of it on the future of the industry.

Biography: I am a Darwin local who graduated from Taminmin College in 2012. I started working at Monsoon Aquatics in 2015 when it was a small shed in the owner's backyard. Since then the business has expanded to occupy much larger industrial premises and I have been promoted to Operations Manager of the Darwin warehouse.

*This FREE event is organised by the NT Field Naturalists' Club and is open to members of the public. We hope to see you there.
